FMOS berfungsi sebagai pusat penyelesaian pertikaian untuk pengguna dan pelabur kewangan di seluruh negara.<\/h5><p>FMOS ialah gabungan Ombudsman Perkhidmatan Kewangan (Ombudsman for Financial Services, OFS) dengan Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC). Pengawasan secara bersama oleh BNM dan SC ini akan membantu FMOS beroperasi dengan lebih berkesan menerusi penyelarasan piawaian pengawalseliaan dan pada masa yang sama melindungi kepentingan pengguna, pelabur dan industri kewangan.\u00a0<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"com com-73767c51-6219-4f62-89af-60850367784d\"><div class=\"aps-0036-so-wrapper  list-gap-s font-D6715655-7F24-45EF-8463-ADB1866B5F1D  aps-0036-so-wrapper-965ba5a7-789a-4d23-86c7-b05f5c392bc6\" data-so-type=\"txt;1\"><div class=\"a-inner-text\"><div>Selaras dengan fungsi OFS dan SIDREC, FMOS berperanan sebagai alternatif kepada sistem kehakiman menerusi penyediaan perkhidmatan pengantaraan dan adjudikasi yang bebas dan adil. Proses penyelesaian pertikaian yang diperkemas dan konsisten ini juga akan membolehkan penyelesaian yang lebih pantas dan telus untuk para pengguna dan pelabur.\u00a0<br \/><br \/><b>Bank Negara Malaysia Governor Dato\u2019 Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour<\/b>\u00a0said, \u2018The establishment of FMOS reflects the ongoing commitment of Bank Negara Malaysia and the Securities Commission to enhance the efficiency and\u00a0effectiveness of dispute resolution services. This initiative not only strengthens consumer confidence but also reinforces the integrity and accountability of financial and capital market service providers, ultimately contributing to a more robust and trusted ecosystem.\u2019\u00a0<br \/><br \/><b>Securities Commission Malaysia Chairman Dato\u2019 Mohammad Faiz Azmi<\/b> said, \u2018FMOS simplifies the resolution process for financial consumers and investors by providing trusted one-stop platform. This is especially important as the lines between financial and capital markets blur. FMOS also promotes consistent standards and decisions, strengthening trust in the system.\u2019\u00a0<\/div><div><br \/>Susulan trend nilai purata transaksi kewangan oleh pengguna yang meningkat, BNM telah memperkemas had monetari pertikaian yang layak yang melibatkan akaun atau transaksi kewangan kepada RM250,000. Had ini memperluas skop perlindungan dan memastikan lebih banyak pengguna dapat mengakses perkhidmatan penyelesaian pertikaian secara percuma. Langkah ini selaras dengan had monetari yang layak dan sedia ada bagi pertikaian yang melibatkan akaun dan transaksi pelaburan yang ditawarkan oleh penyedia perkhidmatan pasaran modal bawah pengawalseliaan SC.
