Sharifah mendapati terdapat aktiviti tanpa kebenaran pada akaun Lazada miliknya, dan akaun e-dompetnya telah digunakan untuk membeli play coins daripada Razor Gold. Sebanyak sembilan transaksi telah dilakukan melalui akaun e-dompetnya, yang menyebabkan dana ditolak daripada akaunnya tanpa pengetahuan atau kebenarannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharifah mendakwa bahawa wakil peniaga telah memaklumkan kepadanya bahawa lokasi peranti mudah alihnya telah ditukar ke Sandakan, Sabah tanpa pengetahuan atau kebenarannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PENEMUAN<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Transaksi yang dipertikaikan berjumlah RM606 telah dilakukan melalui akaun e-dompet Sharifah, yang memerlukan PIN 6 digit untuk log masuk yang berjaya. Menurut rekod pengeluar e-wang, transaksi tersebut dilakukan menggunakan Samsung Galaxy Note 10 milik Sharifah sendiri, yang telah dipautkan sejak 14 Januari 2021, tanpa sebarang bukti log masuk daripada peranti baharu sebelum transaksi berlaku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selain itu, transaksi yang dipertikaikan tersebut telah ditambah nilai ke dalam akaun e-dompetnya daripada kad kreditnya melalui ciri auto-debit, yang memerlukan pengesahan OTP pada peringkat awal. Ciri ini membolehkan tambah nilai seterusnya menggunakan \u201ckad kegemaran\u201d yang telah dipautkan tanpa memerlukan OTP tambahan, selaras dengan proses pengebilan standard peniaga.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KEPUTUSAN<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n

Pengurus kes mengekalkan keputusan pengeluar e-wang tersebut. Tidak berpuas hati dengan syor itu, Sharifah merujuk perkara tersebut ke peringkat adjudikasi untuk pengadilan semula. Ombudsman bersetuju dengan keputusan pengurus kes berdasarkan penemuan di atas dan menegaskan bahawa pemegang akaun bertanggungjawab untuk melindungi akaun e-dompet mereka, termasuk butiran akaun dan peranti yang digunakan untuk mengaksesnya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
