Tan Sri Datuk Seri (Dr) Foong Cheng Yuen<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"ekit-team-modal-position\">Chairman\u200b<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"ekit-team-modal-content\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTan Sri Foong was appointed Chairman of FMOS in 2025, having previously served in the same capacity at OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since August 2016.\n\nHe was a former Federal Court Judge. Prior to his elevation to the Federal Court of Malaysia, he served as a Judge of the High Court of Malaya and later as a Judge of the Court of Appeal of Malaysia. While in the Malaysian Judiciary, he was appointed as a Managing Judge of the Civil Division of the High Court in Kuala Lumpur, as well as the High Court and Subordinate Courts of Penang. He was also instrumental in assisting the Chief Justice of Malaysia in transforming the Judiciary by devising schemes to clear the backlog of cases. He retired from the Malaysian Judiciary in February 2012.\n\nTan Sri Foong graduated from the University of London with an LL.B. (Honours) degree in 1969. He was called to the English Bar in 1970. While in practice, after being called to the Malaysian Bar in 1971, Tan Sri Foong practised as an advocate and solicitor, majoring in insurance, both general and life, and served as a legal adviser to numerous guilds and associations in Malaysia before his elevation to the High Court Bench. He was also an external examiner at the Faculty of Law at the University of Malaya.\n\nHe was made Honorary Bencher of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple, London, in 2009, and in 2011, was conferred an honorary Doctor of Laws degree by the University of the West of England. Currently, he practises law and is an arbitrator with several bodies, including the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) and the Hainan International Arbitration Centre. She has served as Non-Executive Independent Director of OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since July 2017. \n\nIn her 20 years of service in the Judicial and Legal service, Tan Sri Zaleha had served inter alia, as a Magistrate, Senior Assistant Registrar of the High Court, Deputy Public Prosecutor, as well as Legal Adviser to the Ministry of Education, the Economic Planning Unit, the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Department of Inland Revenue. She was the Head of the Civil Division in the Attorney General\u2019s Chambers prior to being appointed as a Judge of the Superior Bench.\n\nTan Sri Zaleha qualified as a barrister-at-law at the Middle Temple, UK, in 1971 before joining the Judicial and Legal Service. She also holds a Certificate in Legal Drafting from the University of London. Tan Sri Zaleha was appointed as a Judicial Commissioner and subsequently as a Judge of the High Court, a Court of Appeal Judge, and thereafter, a Federal Court Judge in 2012. She retired from the Malaysian Judiciary in November 2014.\n\nShe is currently an Independent Non-Executive Director of Genting Plantation Berhad. He has served as Non-Executive Independent Director of OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since September 2020. \n\nHe is currently the Deputy President of the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Associations (FOMCA) and the Chief Executive Officer of the Consumer Research and Resource Centre (CRRC). He is also currently the Director of the National Consumer Complaints Centre (NCCC).\n\nDato\u2019 Dr Paul oversees consumer advocacy, education, complaints, and research to strengthen consumer protection and consumer well-being. He has been actively involved in the consumer movement for over 30 years. He continues to represent FOMCA in various task forces on consumer issues, including cost of living, healthcare, financial literacy, public transport, consumer education, and consumer laws. He was a member of the National Economic Council under the previous administration. He was the chief editor of the CRRC Review, a journal on enhancing research on consumer issues. He is also the second editor of the book \u2018Consumer Issues in Malaysia: Strengthening Consumer Protection and Enhancing Consumer Empowerment\u2019.\n\nHe was a senior lecturer in Psychology at a private university.  He served as the Executive Director of Yayasan SALAM Malaysia, an NGO promoting voluntarism and civil society involvement among Malaysian citizens. He served as the Head of Research for the Institute for Policy Research (IKD). He holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Open University Malaysia, a Master\u2019s in Psychology from Universiti Malaya, and a B.Sc. With over 30 years of experience across legal practice and the financial markets, she offers a holistic and grounded understanding of Malaysia\u2019s regulatory landscape, market dynamics, and investor expectations. She advises listed companies, GLCs, manufacturers, and emerging ventures on governance architecture, ESG integration, sanctions-related compliance, and regulatory strategy. Her experience enables her to integrate legal expertise with deep regulatory insight and board-level perspectives. \nMs Sujatha\u2019s experience includes 18 years as a regulator at the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) (including a secondment as CEO of the Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC)), holding C\u2011suite governance &amp; legal counsel roles, and serving on multiple boards. Currently serves as an independent Non-Executive director with Metrod Holdings Berhad, Hextar Technologies Solutions Berhad, and is the Chair &amp; Governor of the Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance (MICG). \nShe continues to contribute to policy development, thought leadership, and capacity building through her advisory work, as well as her roles as a trainer, speaker, and committee Shahariah was appointed as an Independent Director of FMOS in 2025. She has served as a Non-Executive Independent Director of OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since April 2023. \n\nShe has considerable central banking experience in the areas of regulation and supervision of the banking and payment systems industry, as well as market conduct regulation and supervision of the financial industry. She has served Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) since 1989 in various capacities and departments, including Banking Supervision, Banking Regulation, Payment System Policy, Money Services Business Regulation and the Consumer and Market Conduct department.\n\nPuan Shahariah was seconded from BNM to serve as the Chief Executive Officer of OFS in November 2017 until December 2019. Subsequently, she headed the Payment Oversight department in BNM until her retirement in July 2022.\n\nPuan Shahariah also holds a directorship at Institut Integrity Malaysia, effective January 2025. He obtained his Master of Laws (LL.M) with Honours in 1985 from the University of Sydney, Australia and was appointed a Fellow of the Senate of the University of Sydney in 1999. Dato\u2019 Mah joined the Judicial and Legal Services of Malaysia in 1973 and held various positions as a Magistrate, President of the Sessions Court and Senior Assistant Registrar of the High Court. He also served as a Deputy Public Prosecutor, Senior Federal Counsel and Senior Assistant Parliamentary Draftsman in the Attorney General\u2019s Chambers. Dato\u2019 Mah is a member of the Advisory Panel of the Faculty of Syariah and Law of the Islamic Science University of Malaysia (USIM) and was a member of the Industry Advisory Board at HELP University. He serves on the Board of Directors of Assunta Hospital and as the Chief of Staff (Operations) and Legal Consultant to St. John Ambulance of Malaysia. Upon leaving the Judicial and Legal Services in 1985, Dato\u2019 Mah commenced private practice as an advocate and solicitor at MahWengKwai &amp; Associates. He is a past President of the Malaysian Bar and of LAWASIA (the Law Association for Asia and the Pacific). He was also a member of the Legal Profession Qualifying Board and the Advocates and Solicitors Disciplinary Board, both established under the Legal Profession Act 1976. Dato\u2019 Mah was appointed a Judicial Commissioner of the High Court of Malaya in January 2010 and in August 2011, a Judge of the High Court of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur. He was elevated to the Court of Appeal, Malaysia in September 2012. Upon his retirement as a Court of Appeal Judge in February 2015, Dato\u2019 Mah returned to MahWengKwai &amp; Associates as a Consultant. He is a certified Mediator by the Malaysian Mediation Centre and is currently on the panel of mediators of the Malaysian Bar and the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). Dato\u2019 Mah was a Commissioner of the Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (SUHAKAM) from 2016 to 2022. Following the 14th Malaysian General Election in 2018, he was appointed a member of the Institutional Reforms Committee Malaysia. Between September 2018 and 2020, he was appointed a member of the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC). Dato\u2019 Mah was also a Commissioner of the Malaysian Aviation Commission (MAVCOM) from 2016 to 2022. He is currently the Chairman of the Securities Industry Dispute Resolution Center (SIDREC), (in liquidation), a company limited by guarantee under the Securities Commission of Malaysia. Dato\u2019 Mah is an accredited arbitrator with the AIAC and was accredited with the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) on an ad hoc basis. He often sits as a sole arbitrator and on panels of arbitrators in building and construction, energy and telecommunications disputes. She started as a legal practitioner with Messrs Zain &amp; Co before moving on to teach at the Faculty of Law, Universiti Malaya for three years. Thereafter, she joined Fraser &amp; Neave (M) Sdn Bhd as the first Legal Adviser based in Malaysia. She subsequently joined the Usaha Tegas group and amongst others, was involved in the initial stages of the establishment of Maxis and Astro.\n\nAfter leaving Usaha Tegas, she ventured into the field of telecom regulation as the first Legal Adviser of the then newly set up Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) in 1999. She served in the MCMC in various capacities including Head, Monitoring and Compliance and Head, Economic Regulations which saw her participating in World Trade Organisations negotiations as the MCMC representative.\n\nIn 2007, she left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to take up the post of Director, Licensing at the Telecom Regulatory Authority (TRA). At the TRA, she was tasked with drafting the Licensing Regulations and operationalising the licensing framework for telecoms in the UAE. Her scope of work was subsequently widened to include e-commerce related matters. On her return to Malaysia, Pushpa acted as an independent consultant on legal and regulatory matters plus part-time academic in Universiti Malaya while furthering her studies in the field of Competition Law at King\u2019s College, London.\n\nSubsequently in 2014, Pushpa took up the position of Director, Regulatory Affairs in Ooredoo Myanmar Limited, one of the two new telecom licensees in Myanmar. She returned to Malaysia upon completing her term in Myanmar. With her exposure to both the regulator and operator world views of telecom regulations, Pushpa was appointed as a member of the MCMC in September 2018. Her tenure ended in April 2020.\n\nPushpa graduated in 1985 from Universiti Malaya with an LLB (Hons) First Class and has a Master\u2019s degree in law from the University of Cambridge. She also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Competition Law and in Economics for Competition Law from King\u2019s College London. She has served as a Non-Executive Independent Director of OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since October 2024.\n\nPuan Azizah, the Chief Executive Officer of CGS International Securities Malaysia Sdn Bhd (previously known as CGS- CIMB), has over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, from banking to stock broking (Conventional and Islamic). She served as Head of New Clients &amp; Business Development at Maybank Investment Bank (MIB) prior to joining CGS. She took early retirement before joining MIB. She was appointed as a Non- Independent Director at Philip Capital Management Sdn Bhd Board and as a Non-Executive Director of KAF Equities (previously known as KAF Seagroatt &amp; Campbell Securities Sdn Bhd) during her early retirement.  Prior to that, she was attached to KAF Equities Sdn Bhd as Executive Director, Head of Dealing.\n\nPuan Azizah attended the Executive Leadership Programme at the Asia School of Business in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management and holds a Master of Business Administration in Marketing Management from the University of Wales, UK. She is also a Certified Financial Planner from the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia (FPAM) and a holder of Capital Market Service Representative's Licence for Dealing in Securities.\n\nPuan Azizah is currently a Secretary with the Association of the Stockbroking Companies Malaysia (ASCM). He brings more than two decades of regional and international banking experience across Asia and Europe, with deep expertise in treasury, finance, risk management, and sales.\nMr Jamie joined AmBank Group in 2017 as the Group Chief Financial Officer and was named \u2018Best CFO for Investor Relations\u2019 mid-cap category for 2021 by Malaysian Investor Relations Association Berhad (MIRA). His commercial and financial leadership has been instrumental in strengthening organisational resilience and driving strategic initiatives.\n\nBefore joining AmBank Group, Mr Jamie held senior leadership roles in Malaysia, the United Kingdom and Northeast Asia. He previously served as the Regional Chief Financial Officer of Standard Chartered Bank for Greater China and Northeast Asia, overseeing operations in Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, South Korea, and Japan. He was also a Board Member of Standard Chartered (Hong Kong) Limited and Hong Kong Note Printing Limited.\n\nMr Jamie Ling sits on the Board of several other subsidiaries and joint ventures of AMMB, namely AmMetLife Insurance Berhad, AmMetLife Takaful Berhad, AmGeneral Holdings Berhad, Liberty General Insurance Berhad and AMAB Holdings Sdn Bhd.\nMr Jamie holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics and Accounting from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom. She has served as a Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of OFS (Ombudsman for Financial Services) since September 2022. \n\nShe has been serving as Executive Director of the Association of Islamic Banking and Financial Institutions Malaysia (AIBIM) since January 2020. She joined AIBIM in March 2016 and has since played a pivotal role in steering the strategic direction and operational management of the Association. \n\nShe was a driving force behind the successful organisation of the biennial Global Islamic Finance Forum (GIFF) in 2016, 2018, 2022 and 2025, one of the region\u2019s premier Islamic finance events.
