FMOS was honoured to welcome Mr Klavs Kinnerup Hede, Director of International Relations at the Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman, together with representatives from the Royal Danish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, to the FMOS office on 20 October 2026.
The visit offered a valuable opportunity for both institutions to exchange knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences. FMOS was represented by CEO Ms Marina Baharuddin, COO Ms Wong Su Kuin and a team of FMOS Ombudsmen. FMOS shared its role in resolving financial and capital market disputes in Malaysia, while Mr Klavs Kinnerup Hede shared insights into the work of the Danish Parliamentary Ombudsman, highlighting the different approaches to dispute resolution and public redress.
FMOS would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the Royal Danish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur for facilitating this visit and fostering greater understanding of the role of ombudsman institutions in different countries.
