On 28 October 2025, FMOS was once again invited to participate as an exhibitor and panel speaker in Jelajah Anti-Scam Kebangsaan, organised by Cybersecurity Malaysia at the Kompleks Cahaya, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang.
The programme aims to raise public awareness about the growing threats of online financial scams. This time, it focused on Universiti Sains Malaysia students, encouraging them to stay alert and informed about financial fraud.
Representing FMOS, Puan Intan Khadiza Mohamad, Ombudsman, on the forum session “Alamak!!! Saya Dah Scam Orang” reminded all students to act quickly when they receive suspicious calls or messages that could be from scammers and not to hesitate to seek help, as there are free avenues for redress in Malaysia.
